This course is designed especially for those working in the area of supporting and advocating for bereaved parents, families and whanau following pregnancy, baby and infant loss in New Zealand. It is made up of four modules and is the first part of a two-part course. Topics covered include the context of baby loss in NZ, legal and official aspects of baby loss, frameworks for understanding grief and reflecting on whether you are ready to support others. Participants of this course are expected to be part of an organisation that provides support and advocacy.
